Job Description
"Stark Carpet in Calhoun GA is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Cut Table Utility team member to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting the cut table operations by assisting table operators, operating the cut table, and driving a lift truck to locate and transport carpet rolls within the warehouse. If you have a strong work ethic and thrive in a hands-on production environment, we encourage you to apply!
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3:00PM –11:30PM
Job Type: Full-Time
Hiring/Retention Bonus up to $1,000 within the first year!

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Operate the cut table as instructed.Inspect carpet rolls at the cut table for quality and defects.Cut damaged pieces out of carpet rolls to ensure product quality.Inspect returned carpet and return any undamaged product to inventory.Provide backup support to various production tables as needed.Locate and transport carpet rolls within the warehouse using a lift truck.Move cores and plastic to cut machines.Assist Cut Table Operators and Lift Truck Operators as needed.Perform other tasks and duties as assigned to support production needs.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.Ability to operate a lift truck (certification preferred or willingness to obtain).Strong attention to detail and ability to inspect materials for quality.Ability to lift, move, and transport carpet rolls safely.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a team.Willingness to follow safety procedures and company guidelines.
