Due to rapid growth and expansion we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Garment Technician to join our Design & Production team while working across our entire range.
This is a fast paced position working alongside another garment technician, garment tech assistant and closely with various teams within our business.
Salary range: 85-95k + super per annum

Responsibilities
Working closely with the Design and production team to transition from initial concepts through to final sample, reporting directly into the Design and production ManagerCreating initial Tech Packs in conjunction with design for sample development Measuring garments and commenting on manufacturing finishes for all samplingConduct fit meetings and communication of comments to off-shore factoriesLiaising daily with suppliers in China in regards to re-fits, fabrics, finishes and gradingConstant communication with Production team to keep on track with timelines and critical paths
Requirements
Minimum 5+ years' experience in a similar role ideally within the fast fashion industryTertiary education in Design, Pattern making and Grading is essentialA genuine awareness of trends and the ability to incorporate this into fit sessionsStrong industry leading software and technology skills (e.g. Excel, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and the Adobe Creative Suite);Experience in Pattern making, and Grading is essentialTech pack and garment spec knowledge is essentialExperience working across a variety of categories is essentialIn-depth knowledge and experience in fabric testing, textile properties and quality assuranceStrong communication skillsStrong organisational skills to adhere to critical path deadlinesAbility to work in a fast paced environment
