About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Social Strategy Lead to own and evolve WillPowders’ social media and community strategy.This is a strategic role responsible for setting direction, defining standards and leading social as a core brand and growth channel. You will work alongside an existing Social Media Manager, who supports content creation, scheduling and day-to-day execution, and alongside community-focused roles that manage frontline engagement.
Key ResponsibilitiesSocial & Community StrategyDevelop and implement a clear social and community strategy aligned with brand and business objectivesDefine channel roles, content pillars and audience strategy across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and emerging platformsEnsure social activity supports launches, campaigns, commercial moments and brand storytellingAct as the senior owner of social within the marketing function
Leadership & CollaborationWork closely with PR, performance marketing and events teams to ensure joined-up executionBrief designers, creators and freelancers where required
Content Direction & OversightSet content strategy and creative standards across social channelsContribute to ideation and messaging where needed, without being solely responsible for executionUse community insight and feedback to inform content, education and product storytelling
Performance, Insight & OptimisationDefine relevant KPIs across engagement, growth, sentiment and contribution to wider marketing goalsAnalyse performance data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvementReport insights and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders
Skills & QualificationsEssentialMinimum 5 years’ experience leading social media for a consumer brand (B2C essential)Proven experience owning social and community strategy, not just executionStrong understanding of brand voice, community building and audience engagementConfidence working with performance data and translating insight into actionExcellent written communication and sound judgement
DesirableExperience within wellness, health, lifestyle or mission-led brandsExperience working in a fast-growth or founder-led business
