About the Role
BlazePod has incredible brand awareness amongst high level influencers and we want our social to leverage this and grow to really tell our brand story!We’re looking for a Senior Social Media Manager who lives and breathes digital platforms, loves exploring the latest trends, and knows how to translate them into impactful campaigns. You’ll own our social media presence end-to-end, driving strategy, managing the calendar, leading community engagement, and ensuring our brand is at the forefront of the sports and fitness conversation.Alongside social leadership, you’ll also collaborate on broader content initiatives helping shape storytelling across email, video, and partnerships.
Core Responsibilities
Social Media LeadershipBuild and execute a bold social media strategy that grows awareness, engagement, and community.Manage the publishing calendar and daily posting across all relevant platforms.Stay on top of platform updates and cultural trends, bringing fresh ideas and formats into play.Oversee influencer, ambassador, and partnership activations across social channels.Lead community engagement, ensuring timely, authentic responses that strengthen brand loyalty.
Content & CollaborationPartner with marketing, design, and product teams to deliver content that’s both on-brand and platform-native.Support broader campaigns with social-first storytelling that extends into email, blog, and video when needed.Contribute creative ideas for multimedia content that enhances the overall brand narrative.Manage external suppliers (freelancers, agencies, creators) for social content production.
Insights & GrowthTrack performance and use analytics to guide optimizations.Regularly report on KPIs, providing recommendations for future growth.Experiment with new channels and content types to expand reach and engagement.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of experience in social media management in the ecommerce field, ideally in sports, fitness, or lifestyle brands.A true social native - passionate about platforms, trends, and digital culture.Proven ability to build strategies and execute day-to-day management.Strong creative instincts with solid copywriting and visual eye.Experience working with external agencies or freelancers.Data-driven mindset, with comfort in using analytics tools to inform decisions.Passion for sports and a natural connection to athletic culture (an advantage).
