Job Description
"Green Field Project Utility Equipment installation & commissioning
To work closely with equipment manufacturer for designing of the utility equipment for green field project. Supervision of successful utility equipment installation & commissioning within defined timeline. Knowledge & compliance of National electrical code, NFPA-70E, OSHA, National electrical safety code. Ability to understand the process and contributing by providing valuable suggestions for process improvement.
Equipment Maintenance & Upkeep
Attending critical equipment breakdowns of Assembly line, Paint shop, press shop & utility equipment’s. like PLC automation, robots, Paint shop, press shop, HT/LT system, substations and primary power distribution. To Operate and maintain low (<1000V), medium (1kV up to 69kV), and high voltage (69kV up to 115kV) switchgear and controls; repair and maintain motor control centres, programmable logic controls, and variable frequency drives. Troubleshooting, testing, and inspecting complex electrical systems, PLC & robotic automation. Repairing, installing, replacing, and testing electrical circuits using appropriate tools and testing instruments. Upkeeping of AMRs & Material Handling Equipment’s. To perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Planning, Documentation & Improvements
Planning of major breakdowns or equipment overhauling as and when required. Advise Facilities Management Electrical Trades Inspector of non-compliance with NFPA or UNM standards. Making CBM plan of equipment’s. Ensuring proper filling and sustenance of equipment log book. Analysing the log book data bank and planning and implementing improvements according to the data. Devise Process KPIs and make MIS out of that for management discussions. Develop LCA wherever required. Evaluate / access and audit suppliers of machinery wrt automation and maintainability/ reliability aspects PM planning & execution. Contributing by providing improvement Kaizens, Pokayoke, OPL etc. Proper loading of manpower as per required DWM. Equipment spare planning. Indigenisation of foreign spares after proper analysis for cost saving. Tracking and optimising resource consumption. Why-why analysis of major breakdowns. Establishment of new resources for machine spares and services. Training & developing the team members. Ensure safety wrt equipments."
