Our single origin olive oils are just that, and they come in an easy-to-use squeeze bottle that makes everything more fun. Graza is looking for a Director of Sales, Grocery to join our growing team, on a mission to unlock incremental distribution and maximum growth in the Olive Oil category, as well as exciting new future categories. The Director of Sales, Grocery will report into the VP of Sales. The role is remote.The Director of Sales, Grocery will lead Graza’s grocery channel, managing a high-performing regional sales team while directly owning two large national grocery accounts — Kroger and Albertsons. This role is responsible for full account management, top and bottom line results and execution excellence across all grocery customers.This individual will drive revenue growth, expand distribution, and bring Graza’s new product categories to market with excellence. They will collaborate closely with Category Management, Shopper Marketing, and Demand Planning to deliver a fully integrated commercial plan that showcases the total value of Graza’s investments and builds long-term customer partnerships.This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, dynamic environment, and who can balance strategic vision with day-to-day execution.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Graza’s grocery sales team, managing regional account leads and driving channel performance across all grocery customersPersonally manage Kroger and Albertsons national accounts — full ownership of sales, forecasting, promotion, and customer relationships, secondarily supported through broker partnersDeliver channel revenue, share and distribution goals; own annual and quarterly planning and performance trackingDevelop, coach, and grow a high-performing grocery sales team; foster talent growth, accountability, and continuous improvementLead customer joint business planning and relationship development with senior-level retail buyers and cross-functional stakeholdersSuccessfully expand Graza’s presence across new categories, ensuring flawless market entry and executionManage Graza’s grocery broker relationships; set direction, strategy, and priorities while being the primary face of Graza to key customer partnersManage trade spend effectively and efficiently; ensure strong ROI and alignment with brand and channel objectiveMaintain high forecast accuracy and tight collaboration with Demand Planning to ensure strong in-stock performancePartner with Category and Shopper Marketing to develop integrated customer plans and storytelling that highlight Graza’s total value propositionIdentify and mitigate potential conflicts across channels; ensure aligned, consistent execution across customersFoster a high-energy, accountable, and collaborative team culture that thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Qualifications8–12+ years of CPG sales experience, including direct management of large grocery customers (Kroger and/or Albertsons required preferred)Proven success leading sales teams and delivering strong results in fast-growing or entrepreneurial environmentsDeep understanding of trade management, category strategy, and the grocery retail landscapeHighly analytical and organized, with strong forecasting and planning disciplineProficient in syndicated data tools such as Nielsen, Stratum & SPINS; able to translate insights into actionable sales and customer strategiesExcellent communicator and relationship-builder, able to influence internal and external stakeholdersComfortable working in ambiguity and energized by building structure in a fast-moving companyPassion for food, innovation, and building brands that consumers love"
