Overview:Under the direction of the Senior Manager, the Associate Marketing Manager is responsible for conducting market research and supporting the development of a strong NPD pipeline.
Tasks & ResponsibilitiesSupport global marketing department in development and professional hair color innovation.Lead deep-dive competitive and category analyses, identifying trends and white-space opportunities and translating insights into product concepts, positioning, claims, and shade development.Lead packaging artwork development working cross-functionally (Copy, Legal, R&D and other teams).Assist in managing project timelines end-to-end, driving cross-functional alignment and ensuring timely approvals for formulas, copy, claims, and artwork.Assist in ideation of new product concepts/positioning and testing of new product formulas.Support NPD process by creating strong launch briefs/decks that clearly communicate market needs, launch strategy and innovation concepts.Operate with a high level of ownership, proactively identifying next steps, solving problems, and keeping teams informed.
Professional Competencies 2–4 years of beauty or CPG experience in marketing, product development, or innovation (professional hair color preferred but not required).Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.Demonstrates clear passion for product and innovation within the beauty/cosmetics industry.Attention to detail, ability to work independently, reliable, sense of urgency.Strong creative and aesthetic sensibility with the ability to maintain brand DNA across packaging, claims, visuals, and storytelling.Ability to work independently, think critically, and take initiative to move projects forward.Experience using marketing research tools (WGSN, NPD, internal data platforms) to shape concepts or category POV.Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.Knowledge of hair color or salon industry experience is a plus.
