Job Description

"Job Overview:With a strong and growing presence on TikTok Shop and an engaged community, we are seeking a commercially driven TikTok Lead to take ownership of our TikTok LIVE strategy and performance. This role is central to driving revenue through LIVE shopping and requires someone who is confident, credible and compelling on camera, with a deep understanding of how to convert engagement into sales.The TikTok Lead will act as the key on-screen brand representative, responsible for planning, hosting and optimising LIVE content in line with business objectives, brand standards and audience expectations. This role carries clear commercial accountability, with performance measured against core KPIs including GMV, conversion rate, AOV, CTR and overall LIVE trading performance.
Key Responsibilities
TikTok LIVE Strategy, Trading & Performance· Own and deliver a commercially focused TikTok LIVE strategy, aligned to brand guidelines, TikTok policies and wider business trading priorities.· Take full accountability for LIVE performance, with clear ownership of KPIs including GMV, conversion, AOV, CTR and engagement metrics.· Plan, schedule and optimise LIVE sessions based on performance insights, trading calendars and peak audience behaviour, flexing activity to meet changing business needs.· Analyse LIVE performance data to continuously refine formats, timing, product focus and selling techniques to maximise sales and engagement.TikTok LIVE Hosting & Execution· Act as the primary host or co-host for TikTok LIVE sessions, confidently presenting products, driving conversion and engaging audiences for extended periods of time.· Demonstrate strong on-camera presence, selling products in a compelling, authentic and brand-aligned way.· Set up, manage and optimise LIVE shopping carts to ensure a seamless customer purchasing journey.· Think quickly and adapt in real time during LIVE sessions, responding to audience behaviour, questions, sales performance or technical issues as they arise.Product Knowledge & Live Preparation· Develop and maintain deep product knowledge across ranges featured on LIVE, ensuring accuracy, credibility and confidence on screen.· Prepare thoroughly in advance of each LIVE, including product selection, key talking points, pricing, offers, stock levels and FAQs.· Work closely with wider teams (e.g. warehouse, customer service and content) to ensure LIVE readiness and smooth execution.Promotional & Supporting Content· Create promotional TikTok content to build awareness and hype ahead of LIVE sessions.· Collaborate with the content team to produce eye-catching, on-brand assets and messaging that drive traffic to LIVE.· Monitor trends, platform updates and competitor activity to ensure content remains relevant, engaging and commercially effective.Community Engagement & Brand Representation· Build strong relationships with the TikTok community, fostering trust, loyalty and repeat engagement.· Act as a visible ambassador for the brand, consistently reflecting our values, tone of voice and visual standards on screen.· Engage with comments and messages before, during and after LIVE sessions to maintain momentum and audience connection.Cross-Platform & Team Support· Support wider social media activity as required, including scheduling, performance analysis and ideation.· Collaborate on cross-platform strategies to drive traffic into TikTok LIVE.· Lead EGC (employee-generated content) strategy in line with TikTok trends and platform discoveries.Skills & Experience· Proven experience delivering TikTok LIVE and TikTok Shop performance, either as a creator or in a professional/commercial role.· Strong understanding of TikTok algorithms, trends and audience behaviour, with the ability to translate insights into a data-driven LIVE strategy.· Confident, engaging and resilient on camera, with the ability to host LIVE sessions for extended periods and sell products effectively.· Experience setting up and managing TikTok Shop and LIVE shopping carts.· Comfortable analysing performance metrics and optimising content to drive commercial results.· Familiarity with social media platforms and basic video editing tools (e.g. CapCut, Adobe Rush or similar).Personal Attributes· Commercially minded, proactive and creative, with a strong focus on results.· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.· Agile thinker who can adapt quickly under pressure during LIVE sessions.· Highly organised with strong attention to detail and preparation.· Team player with excellent communication skills.· Flexible and available to work in line with the TikTok LIVE rota and trading requirements.
