Role Overview:
Orient Electric is seeking a seasoned IT Infrastructure Manager to lead and manage its enterprise-wide IT infrastructure, operations, and security landscape. This role is pivotal in ensuring robust, secure, and scalable IT systems across plants and offices, supporting both SAP and non-SAP environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Information Security
- Implement and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) systems and Enterprise Security Governance (ESG) frameworks. - Administer and monitor firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems. - Drive security policy implementation, compliance, and periodic IT audits.
IT Infrastructure
- Oversee data center operations, including physical and cloud-based servers. - Manage SAP and non-SAP landscapes, virtualization platforms, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and storage systems. - Administer network infrastructure including switches and connectivity across locations.
IT Operations
- Ensure smooth IT operations across plants and offices, including endpoint device management. - Supervise resident engineers and ensure timely resolution of user issues. - Lead the rollout and enforcement of IT policies and standards. - Maintain high availability and performance of IT services and systems.
Additional Responsibilities
- IT Asset Management. - Backup of servers and end-user systems.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
B.Tech / B.Sc / M.Sc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Certifications (Preferred):
Microsoft Certified Linux Certified VMware Certified
Experience:
8–12 years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Proven experience in managing hybrid environments (on-premise + cloud).
Strong understanding of enterprise security and compliance frameworks.
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Effective communication and stakeholder management."
