Job Description
"The role in summary:
As Art Director you will report to the APAC Creative Lead and play a critical role in supporting the Creative Team in creative direction and execution for campaign visuals and graphics that inspire our audience while creating a consistent brand representation across physical and digital channels. This role requires a strong sense in outdoor, fashion and design aesthetics and passion in design and providing pixel perfect user experience. Our Art Director will have a sharp eye, be a team player and enjoy working within tight timelines on multiple projects simultaneously.
Key responsibilities:
Develop creative concept and support Creative Lead in art direction, and execution for brand campaigns, product marketing, social content while aligning with global brand strategy. Ensure a high level of aesthetic quality and brand consistency across all platforms.Work closely with Creative Managers, Project Managers, Copywriters, Brand Managers and external partners to deliver high quality contents.Oversee and supervise visual assets across different functions within marketing team to support The North Face owned channels (ecommerce, stores, social channels) and Wholesales accounts in their ongoing communications.Curate and collaborate with production houses, up-and-coming directors and photographers and other talents. Stay alert to market trends to ensure the engagement and conception originality of brand ans social assets.Adapt campaign creative visual assets to best fulfil regional channel needs. Support in the development of visuals for events and brand activations.
Required experience and skills:
BA/BFA in Fine Arts, Design, Visual Communication or related disciplines.3-5 years of experience in art direction, brand creative or related fields.Experience in agency side, particularly serving fashion/outdoor/sports brands. Client-side experience is a plus.Extensive experience of working with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and Figma etc.Strong in Art Direction (Design, Campaign, Shoot, Production)A team player with good communication skillsNatural interest in art and cultureLanguage skills: Preferably fluent in English (both written and spoken)"
